Chicago_Pete
If you are limited on your preamp inputs like I was, this little box worked out well for me.It has 4 inputs and the remote is a nice bonus.Didn't add any noise to my system like a few others I have tried. KdAgain
Hi Pete, Thanks, I was just looking for something like this! Where did you get it? Thanks a lot, Rod
SWL
Is this the one? http://www.lenexpo-electronics.com/4x1-Shinybow-Stereo-Audio-Switcher-w-Remote-p-17397.html
Mallette
I ran that model number...I don't think they are making it anymore. Not listed in the products. The one you found is active. Wouldn't trust it without an audition. Dave
Chicago_Pete
Bought it on ebay. Do a search for this: 4x1 Shinybow Stereo Audio RCA Switcher SWITCH with IR Seller has them listed for $149 or best offer. I offered $120 shipped. Maybe you could offer less and still get it, I don't know? I have my reel to reel, tuner, and cassette hooked into it. The turntable and CD player still go direct to my pre. Doesn't hum or do anything weird that I can detect. Not affiliated with the seller, just took a chance and am pleased with the purchase. Mallette
So the one you have is active? 150.00 for a passive switcher would be a bit on the steep side. Can't see any need for an extra stage of amp in a switcher except for distribution purposes. I went through their whole product line and the 150.00 RCA switcher was active and had a different model number, started with a 5 I think. The one you have was not listed.
