Cristian123
Hello everybody, first post here. [] I just purchased my first Klipsch HT, and I need to wall-mount the RS-42 surrounds. I was wondering if you think the B-Tech BT-38 might work with the threaded inserts of RS-42's, here is the link for the wall-mounts http://www.avmountsonline.com/proddetail.php?prod=BT-38 Thanks, Cristian
Moderators Youthman Posted February 8, 2009 Moderators Share Posted February 8, 2009 Welcome Cristian. I'm not sure but if you get them, be sure to post how they worked out for you. I might have to mount mine close to the ceiling and if so would prefer to be able to angle the RS-62's or RS-52's downward towards the listening area. InVeNtOr
well if you just need to mount them flat against the wall, go to lowes or home depot and buy a screw and ancor. u can use the key hole bracket on the back. one of the many little beauties of those speakers. welcome.....please come on in..... wuzzzer
All I did was use a sheetrock screw (I think that's what it is) in the rear bracket. They're not too heavy and I've had no problems.
nzorn
This thread might help you out a bit: http://forums.klipsch.com/forums/t/111696.aspx I'm happy with the OmniMount 20 speaker mounts I bought for my RS-52's.
Cristian123
Thank you all for your replies. For now, I just went to Home Depot and got some wood screws and used the keyhole bracket. Much cheaper, and the wife is happy (once I hide the wires into the wall of course). Now the next step is to wall-mount the 50 inch Kuro, so I can set the center speaker properly. I still like the BT-38, so I'll check them out later (I can get them for about CDN$100 here in Toronto). Cristian
