SilverSport
Guys n Gals,Some audible noise from speakers...doesn't matter if it is the Stereo with Klipsch speakers or just the TV speakers...Hereis how I HAD the connections...HDMI from TV to U-Verse box...ComponentVideo (Red, Green Blue...visual only, no sound) from TV to rear of DVDplayer...Red and White audio only from rear of DVD playerto Nakamichi TA/2A receiver...(Video setting)...Red and White audioonly from Nakamichi TA/2A receiver (CD setting) to audio out on TV...What I want to accomplish:TV with TV speakersTV with Klipsch speakers powered by TA/2ADVD with Klipsch speakers powered by TA/2AMusic CDs through Klipsch speakers powered by TA/2ALastnight I unhooked everything and hooked up just an HDMI connectionbetween U-Verse box and TV...when you turn the volume up to say 35(sony LCD rear projection TV) I get the exhaling air sound through thestock speakers...If I change over to the receiver...I get the exhaling air sound...I changed from HDMI (sound and visual) to Component and AudioI have changed out interconnectsI have changed out DVD playersI have removed the TA/2A from the system altogether ("I have removed the TA/2A from the system." )I have changed up the connections...no differences with any of these corrections...Quite possibly it has always done this and I just missed it but I doubt it...When I listened to just a CD on the Klipsch powered by the TA/2A it sounded nice but there was some "exhale" still present...Thoughts...?Bill
wuzzzer
It might have always been there, but interconnects always run the risk of introducing unwanted noise. HDMI cables don't really suffer from the same problem because they are carrying a digital signal.
SilverSport
Hey wuzzer...thanks...that is probably it since I hear it through the stock Sony speakers using the stock sony amp in the TV without going through the receiver too (just quieter [] )...
