trashyrich1157
Got it over the weekend from CL. Got it home and I get no sound when I plug into the rca inputs, if I run the speaker wire to the crimps , I get sound. Any ideas guys? Thanks. CECAA850
Have you turned the sub on in your receivers setup menu?
trashyrich1157
Yes. I have done that.
wuzzzer
Are you connecting it to the Subwoofer/LFE output on your receiver?
michael hurd
How about turning the gain all the way down and connecting a device like a cd player or such directly to the RCA input on the sw-8, see if you have sound, then very carefully start turning it up. trashyrich1157
I will check both of those things when I get home tonight.
trashyrich1157
Ok. Went thru the menu on the reciever , Pioneer VSX-D509S, and in the sub menu you could have ON OFF or PLUS, I put it on PLUS and I have signal now. Not as good as in the other system I have with a Yamaha reciever and the same sub. I will just have to play with it I guess. that is the fun part though. Thanks for the input guys. I love this site. tommyboy
On my receiver, I set mine to Plus, and my subs sound GREAT! But, like you said, I had to "play" around with mine as well. Took quite a while to get em where I wanted em, but the end result was well worth it!!!
