colterphoto1
Here's what I picked up a couple weeks ago. It was really disappointing to respond to an ad showing the beautiful BG and aluminum and finding that one had been painted flat black! bhendrix
Incredibly beautiful work, Michael. Those LSI's are worth at least $1000 a pair.

I believe rule number 3 is to put rags in a metal can...ATM = Acetone, Toluene, and Methanol These are the three primary ingredients in Lacquer Thinner and are used together to form a very aggressive stripping agent. ATM strippers are available with wax and thickeners to form semi-paste finishes as well as in forms without any of these additives.
Moderators Travis In Austin Posted March 14, 2009 Moderators Share Posted March 14, 2009 These were part of 8 that were installed in a club in Las Vegas so they've not been toured. Michael, Did they say what club in Las Vegas? I had a club in Las Vegas that had LSI in them, I wonder if these are the same. Travis
colterphoto1
T- no idea and I think he'd had them for a while. These sound beautiful, I put some nice hot tweeties in there and with the balanced mid drivers they are a lively set of LSI's. I think the fibreglass and aluminum trim keeps the side wall flexation down so that the LSI's project bass better than the home models. A 'thunk' test between these and my LSBRs seems to confirm this. Great garage/shop speakers of for a band. These will be offered for sale. I'm keeping one pair of LSI-BG splits, that's all I need.
