jtnfoley
from my other great passion, my dogs. I've got some great OLD ads, including a WWII era tabloid sized full page four-color featuring a Great Dane (which I have) and a Dachshund (which I will never have!) My latest acquisition is a page from a 1952 Saturday Evening Post, also tabloid sized (greyscale this time,) with a Great Dane saving a child from running into the street after a ball. On the reverse was an ad that this community may find interesting: Perhaps a man would pick up his new Philco tubes in Comfort, Action, and Style in his Soap n' Water Irelan shirt: The other two ads on the reverse, besides the Philco and Marlboro Shirts, was Continental Motors Corp, Air-Cooled Industrial Engines division, "Red Seal Lawnmower Engines" and BromoSeltzer. FWIW: This is the reason I bought this ad page...
