Chorus II Placement...

Recommended Posts

I am a LONG time admirer and a new owner of the Chorus II's. I was wondering if anyone had some advice on how far the Chorus II's should be placed from the wall. The speaker are not near any side walls, so the placement would be from the rear wall. Thank You in advance.

I owned Chorus IIs for about 18 years +/- and never found them really dependent on placement for and aft however toe in and out could change them. I would guess that I ended up around 1 ft or so from the rear wall in both open and closed sided configuration. I never had a problem matching aligment with rack for looks, they were pretty adaptable. Easy enough to check that, buy a beer and a pizza get a buddy to move'em around and suit YOUR ears.

Nice speakers!

I too ran these speakers for some time and found more lows are produced when they are placed in corners, luckily these belt out sufficient bass no matter where you place them but like was already mentioned just experiment with them until you find your sweet spot.

Great speakers by the way, hope you are enjoying them.
