edster00,

You are funny...

HOW DO YOU WANT TO ELIMINATE THE KSW12's BUZZ BY USING A THREE TO TWO PRONG ADAPTOR?

THE KSW12 does not have any ground. Its a two prong plug

Now with my Sunfire and other big subs I have this is a great idea. And I use it,its A OK

randog,

Use a inexpensive power conditioner, better shielded sub cable.I fixed my KSW12 and 15 buzz by using an APC PC surge protector with a filter, and good quality UltraLink sub interconects. My buzz is gone.

Hope it helps

randog, a friend of mine recently ahd his sub start humming. Even without the inputs connected,it started as soon as it was plugged in. He called Tech Support, and was told that it was probably due to a screw that might have came loose inside. He gave my friend directions on how to take it apart and fix. He did so and it fixed the hum,but then discovered that the amp was fried. So best bet would be call Tech and explain problem and maybe they can help.

I had a humm when I connected my new Sunfire recently.

Mine was due to a ground problem in my cable line coming in from the outside. I was told this is a fairly common cause of subwoofer hum because the cable lines coming in from outside are often not grounded correctly.

The fix was a $2.00 ground loop isolator from radio shack, and about 20 minutes of my time.

Worked great and completely eliminated my hum.

Might want to give that a try.
