Video card ram, can you verify it in XP?

I bought a video card off Ebay. Seems to work fine. Running dxdiag indicates the ram is twice whats supposed to be on it. Says there is 1gb when it should be 512mb. I suspect that is the video card driver telling tales. Is there a way to probe the card with XP and see the "actual" ram on the card? Hard to imagine I got a 1gb card instead of the 512mb version. How can I tell?

Thanks, that was just what I needed. Turns out I have the 512mb version that I paid for. Not the 1gb version the driver reported. The card is a MSI R4650 pci express if interested.

By the way Ace, really been enjoying the pc!
