sliqmick
Hey guys, I am presently rebuilding a set of Kg4s & I find myself rewiring the network to driver wires. Just wondering if anyone has any favorites (brand/gauge). I'm curious what Al K. uses? Is the impedence the most important factor? Would I want the lowest impedence or the one closest to the system impedence. Am I spelling impedence properly? TIA, Mick
mike stehr
Check his Site. Or use the same wire you would use for your cables.
Mighty Favog
Here's a link to another part of the BB that might help. Believe me, we went round and round on this subject and I still have all the praise in the world to do what I did. To say the least the bass extention went through the floor. It took quite a while to get it done (about 7 hours on a pair of KLF-20's) and two soldering iron tips being burnt and rounded over to the shape of a finger. If you have to time to kill and just a little bit of scratch to burn (about $25-$30) then it is worth while. Al Klappenberger
sliqmick, I wire my networks with ordinary 14 AWG wire from AutoZone. It really isn't critical. Al K.
