RF-3 compatible rear & center speakers

I have RF-3's I'm using for my front speakers and would like to rebuild my home theater system around them. Any suggestions for rear and center speakers and AV receiver. I'm wondering if maybe it would be easier and more cost effective to just buy a complete system and forget about using the 9 year old RF-3's(?). I don't have a huge budget ($1000 max). Thanks for any help.

If your budget isnt that big, I would keep the Rf3's and be on the look out for a used RC3. The surrounds may be more difficult to find (RS3) so maybe look for the RS42.

With that budget, get an RC-3 center ($150 to $200) and a pair of RS-3's ($200 to 350) or RS-43's ($300 to $450) surrounds.

People often have them for sale here in the Garage sale area.

You will be hard pressed to get the same sound for under $1000 after dumping your RF-3's.

i run my RF3s with an RC3II and a pair of RS42s. works great.

but with a $1k budget, i would rather get the RC7, which i think a few members on the forum have for sale.
