HudsonValleyNoah
Guys, Can anybody give me some feedback on these glossy cone woofers? I am going to populate my HD-TO Heresy Decorators and although I have a few pairs of very nice K-22K K-22E K-22EF and a cool pair of K-22-R... Those new BEC K-"whatever" up-grade woofs might make some sense - if I can get feedback about them. Any one try them yet?
Rivernuggets
I know T-Ram has a pair of Sapele Heresy with those woofers. Are you there, T?
HudsonValleyNoah
Help - has NO ONE used these BEC Heresy woofers?
T-Ram
Sorry guys! I was taking a nap! :-) Absolutely love mine. Besides looking REALLY COOL ( http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/127026.aspx ) in my decorators, they sound excellent too. With them at the office I rarely get to crank them up, but I am totally pleased with the sound. Running them with my "jerry-rigged" subwoofer ( http://community.klipsch.com/forums/t/118652.aspx ) from a set of Pro-Media 2.1's that died and they are more than adequate, even when I come in on the weekend and can give them a true workout. Daddy Dee
I have had the chance to hear them and was impressed with the sound. They are a drop in replacement built to BEC's spec by Eminence. They use a massive (for a 12 inch woofer) magnet. This is the same magnet on BEC's 15 inch woofer. Very nice.
Groomlakearea51
I have a "floater" pair that I've tested in 1's, 2's etc. and they are very.... very.... good. Normally I'd use K-28's in rebuilds, etc, but they are getting a little "pricey"; Bob's got the ticket here; cost value is great; and they absolutely will outperform the old 22's and especially 24's.
