Tim Taylor
Am I correct in assuming the RB-61 has mounting holes only in the bottom? The spec's don't say but the picture shows the speaker sitting on top of a stand. Thanks, T.T.
Yura
I would be surprised. I have RB-3 and they have no holes anywhere. The only one that came witha hole was RC-3 (center)(

Tim Taylor
I was referring to the 1/4"-20 threaded inserts. If not on the backside, would they be provided on the bottom for bolting the speaker to the stand? Or does the speaker attach to the stand another way? Moderators Youthman Posted February 10, 2010 Moderators Share Posted February 10, 2010 Or does the speaker attach to the stand another way? My guess would be gravity. []
Tim Taylor
Haven't made my mind up yet, but if I go with these speakers I don't think I will trust gravity. I can imagine what gravity might do if they vibrate off the stands or get bumped and fall off. Believe I would make my own holes and use a couple screws to secure them to the stands or something like that. Just not familiar with the products and mounting but you all have helped a bunch. Thanks, T.T.
Moderators Youthman Posted February 11, 2010 Moderators Share Posted February 11, 2010 Yeah, gravity and speakers are not usually friends. I was just trying to say in a different way, that I don't believe the RB-61's have any mounting holes. I put two small screws into the bottom of my RB-35's to help keep them secured to the mounting bracket.
