Providing the sub is in new condition, it performs BIG even by todays standards. I think mine retailed new at $1199. ........ plus $100 shipping and the cost of the cable, I paid about $1350 five years ago. Even at $1350, it was a great sub for theprice...and that was 5yrs ago!! my 2 cents... PS...I do smell some BS in the sales add..... and that worries me. 1.
