WMcD
Attached is a file with two articles by PWK which appeared in Electronics magazine in 1951. Sorry about the quality. It is the best I can do with the microfilm. I doubt anyone will want to use these techniques in that modern equipment accomplishes the same with greater accuracy and comparable cost. OTOH the article on distortion has some typical PWK subjects. * The low C Bourdon pipe at 32.7 Hz. * Higher order distortion: "As it is becoming apparent that a few hundredths of a percent of high-order distortion is more irritating than several percent of low-order distortion, the pictorial representation of the distortion residue may be considerably more valuable than a mere numerical value representing total distortion." Maybe this is the first time his thesis on the the matter is suggested in a publication. So we really can't say, "Oh, hum, more of the old stuff." Rather, this was the start of it! Your weekend reading.
