Glen Sinclair
I'm in the market for a center speaker to go with my Cornwall II's I know the Academy is a great match but I lothe to pay the price people are asking for this speaker, is a single Heresy equal or better than the Academy for a center ? Or should I just go with another Cornwall ? The Cornwall option seems like it might be overkill but am unsure. Thanks Glen
CECAA850
If you can swing it, 3 matching front speakers is an ideal configuration.
NOZ
Your center channel is the most important speaker in you H/T. All dialogue goes through it, well most of it anyways. Another cornwall would definately not be overkill.
lthammons
Hey Noz..I have a C-2 as my center and was interested in buying the C-3 and running both at the same time...Any input on this decision?
NOZ
This is a very touchy subject. The reason I doubled up mine is they are exactly matching, and getting the the tweeters as close together as possible. I wouldn't do it with two different speakers. Stolenrs
I agree with NOZ, don't run dual centers that are not the same, I run dual Heresy II's for a center, and I think they sound awsome, but yes there are those that will argue the point. But hey if you like the way it sounds that is all that really matters. If you have the means try it out might be supprising what you hear!! Good luck ~ ross
