fini
http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/ele/1702128985.html Never heard of these before. Why in the world would they have a rear-firing mid horn? Maybe they were supposed to sit in the corners? Seems funky to me.

jason str
Nice, i wonder how many days that pretty foam surround would last before it turned to dust ?
djk
Wish I was close enough to grab them.Their big brother 417R really slammed. This pair looks well maintained. Original foam has been replace, it only lasted 10~12 years for most people. New foams last much longer. The midrange horn, while it looks like a Heresy horn, actually was only a KG sized piece (1" coil). They were angled upwards on the back, and needed to be spaced into the room a few feet to work properly. This angled rear horn with the level control, while not as pin-point in imaging as a forward firing horn, allowed them to sound pretty smooth on early harsh sounding solid state gear.
