flatgrass
Was just messing around on Napster and came across the new Steve Miller album, Bingo! This is really good, quite a bit of blues influence. Couldn't get the credits, but has some interesting vocalists on several tracks.

flatgrass
Thanks for the link Todd. Could hear some old delta type voices. Didn't pick up on Jimmie Vaughan, though. Must be an old Texas connection between him and Steve.
Boxx
They were both in high school, in Dallas, at the same time (different schools). That's where the connection started.

Seadog
I saw / heard him in Chicago a couple of weeks ago (Taste of Chicago performance). He did some tunes from the new CD of course, along with the old favorites. I have to say that they sounded really good.
StretchZep1
The newBingo Album is GREAT! Has a tribute page to the late great Norton Buffalo inside. We are all going to miss him. I have seen him about 6 times over the years and he is truely one of the GREATEST entertainers of our generation. Also I am jealous of Seadog for having the oppertunity to see him in Chicago. I have the Steve Miller Band Live from Chicago DVD and that venue is awesome. Two disc set and a great interview with Steve about his early days in and aroundChicago and some of the great musicains he played with. A definate must have for your collection. Groomlakearea51
Miller said of the album, "This is a party record, man. It's about getting up and getting ready to dance. It's like the fraternity party gigs I used to play in college. [Y][Y][Y] [H]
