CHASLS2
I found some one year old RF 82's kinda local to me for sale, the guy wants $600. Are they worth the asking price if they are in super shape?
Ironsave
I would say that is a decent price; but not an "OMG, I need to jump on this now!" deal. Check Ebay; what recent sales have been, etc. http://cgi.ebay.com/Klipsch-RF-82-Floorstanding-One-Pair-BRAND-NEW-Black-/370373173013?pt=Speakers_Subwoofers $1100 new, so thats about 45% off.... For me.... 60-70% off and that's a "Jump on it!" deal.... But.... They are only a year old and if pristine..... a pretty good deal. Keep in mind there is the new RF 82 IIs coming out so the RF 82s are likely to be more readily available used in a few months. There will be many wanting to sell the RF 82s to get RF 82 IIs or even RF7 IIs..... (Law of Supply and Demand, you might be able to get them even cheaper in a few months). Good Luck. CHASLS2
I picked up a pair of F3's last year local for around $200 like new. If could get them for $450 then that would be a super deal.
goonstopher
I went by 2 dealers. 1 of them had no discounts and the other said they had nothing left to sell. It looks like klipsch REALLY planned this switch well and let dealers know properly. There doesn't look to be a big closeout happening so they should be holding value right now on the used market but like tohers said when the new line comes out... Who knows. Rivernuggets
For comparison, eight months ago I bought a used and mint RF-82 pair for $550.
elementfbl114
I got my 82s for a little under 900 new. I would definitely pick them up because I need some back surrounds [] and that would be cheaper than a pair of rb-81s new...
BluBitRates
When i sold the rf-82s i was using for surrounds i started at $600 and budged to $550. They were only a year old. I think $550 is fair for a used pair a year old. Beats paying the new price. The rf-82s i am using for fronts i got cheaper than $550. CHASLS2
I will see if i can get the guy down under $500. Don't know if i could use the F3's for rears ,and i also have a C3 center , so it would be a mixed up combo.
