RWMIN
Ok ears, you need help! I think that the first step to recovery is SVS. Oops, I mean the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. As long as you don't move next door to us, or even on the same block, we are here for you. LOL.
kenratboy
EAR: I am glad a snob (in a good way) bass freak like yourself would entertain techno on your system. Thats about all I listen to. Techno, trance, IDM (my favorite), and anything that is well done. I will get DSL in a month (about f^c^i^g time...) so I will be able to download. Orbital and Chemical Brothers are my two latest victims of desire. I have a policy: If I find a group that I like, I WILL buy their CD (or more if I like them). ONLY if they are not RIAA freaks or like U2 where they are rich enough by my standards! quote: Ok ears, you need help! I think that the first step to recovery is SVS. Oops, I mean the first step to recovery is admitting you have a problem. Well done, bravo! Unless TheEAR is really a 14-year old with a pair of *uance's (*=N), it would be fun to crash at his place for a weekend! If he has 20+ subs, we could jack a few on our way out the door! Kain
Is there anyway you can tell an "old" SVS CS-Ultra to the "new" one just by looking at it? ------------------ Home Theater: Display: Sony VPL-VW11HT LCD Projector A/V Receiver: Denon AVC-A11SR (European version of Denon AVR-4802) DVD Player: Denon DVD-3800 Center: Klipsch RC-7 Mains: Klipsch RF-7s Surrounds: Klipsch RS-7s Subwoofer: SVS CS-Ultra w/Samson S1000 amplifier
TheEAR
You are good jokers, the bad part is I was robbed one time!I invited some pals from work over to listen to my audio system(nearly eight years ago)and not even a week after the visit I had some MFB's who broke the door and took my then revered Adcom power amp and Thiel 1.5's.I was devastated by this,I worked for little money and these Thiels were months of savings.GONE! The bastards did not even take the time to disconect them from the amp, they cut the AudioQuest speakers wires! No respect at all My speakers and amp were never found,I had some names in mind but no solid proof. This still makes me sick, why dont these bastards start working for a change? TheEAR(s) Now theears
Seb
is that why you won't let anyone enter/see your systems? ------------------ http://members.fortunecity.com/sebdavid - go laugh at my crappy website/equipment http://www.dvdprofiler.com/mc.asp?alias=Sebdavid - go laugh at my puny little DVD collection
toussi1
It sucks getting robbed. I once got my whole car stereo system robbed out of our car parked in the back yard with everything locked. Everybody is a theif these days. I guess if i had about 50,000 worth of equipment as the Ear seems to have i won't let just any body in my house. It would be nice to see a picture of all your stuff though. ------------------ http://www.autodirectsave.com
TheEAR
Seb, Where I live in Montreal is anything but quiet and safe.Bars burn, gangs set their scores and thiefs with not much better to do wait for the perfect Kodak moment(and more). When my Thiels and Adcom were stolen I was on fire for a good month. Its funny when it not you but when it is then you start thinking.Who knew, who spoofed ya,I said to myself NEVER AGAIN.Better be safe than sorry. Oh and what brands of digital cams do you sell?Send me an e-mail if you can, sorry erased the one you sent me,with the tonn of junk mail I get "Get you FREE Platinum card" and "Viagra is good for you" LOL toussi1, Its sad, some lay in wait and like predators will sneak when you least expect it.Car stereos are a popular thief choice, its just too tempting. I know a few who invested over $40000 in car stereos! This is crazy, just to reach 150dB and for what reason? At 130dB your vision blurs dammit, and at 150 you see angels(R.I.P. experience).
