bat7ball
I have recently acquired a pair of the Crites tweeters to try in my La Scalas in place of the original square shaped tweeters. I do not want to unsolder the wire from the old tweeters (might want to put them back in after all) so I'm looking for suggestions about what to use to wire up the Crites tweeters. I am also using the Crites A/AA crossover, and the system is SET based and wired everywhere else with braided silver in teflon tubing wire. TIA! - Steve C. jason str
Bob can hook you up with some wire. http://www.critesspeakers.com/ Or run over to radio shack and pick up some 16 gauge or better, been using it forever with good results. Don Richard
16 gage should be good. For 12 inches of wire or so, it really does not matter.
djk
You might try some magnet wire. Or some silver Kynar wire wrap wire.
Groomlakearea51
Doesn't Bob's tweeters have the lead wires already attached? If so, it woul be just a matter of disconnecting the old K-77's from the crossover terminal block and reconnecting the CT-125's. If that's not the case (the CT wires are not there), then any good quality 14-16 gauge wire would work just fine. [H]
