wstanger
First off thank you to everyone. I bought the RF3 ii system for 900.00 They offered to deliver to house so I felt I would spend the extra 100.00. I love the system played with settings a little then off to Chicago to see parents for Christmas. Can't wait to fly home to really tune system. I have the sw-450 that I bought previously don't really know should I hook up and run two subs or sell . I guess I will experiment when I get home and see. speakers sound great with just the one sub. Thanks again I am sure i will have more questions when i really have time to play. Merry Christmas to all for the great advice

Moderators Youthman Posted December 24, 2010 Moderators Share Posted December 24, 2010 Didn't you wake up this morning with a (cough, cough) cold? [] I have the sw-450 that I bought previously don't really know should I hook up and run two subs or sell . If you decide to try two subs, you simply come out of your receiver with a Y and split the RCA signal sending one to each sub. Have a Merry Christmas with your family! wstanger
Hi, Turns out the sub is a RSW-12 not a RW-12 Still working on getting everything in order but I am pleased with everything so far. I am using both subs trying to figure out best placement. Thanks again
holtrp
wstanger: Have you looked at audiogon.com? There are some good deals on all things audio and they have a blue-book that tells you what a reasonable price is for used equipment. They also have another cool forum. I bought a sub, two amps and sold a set of towers on Audiogon, cool community.
Rivernuggets
Turns out the sub is a RSW-12 not a RW-12 Still working on getting everything in order but I am pleased with everything so far. I am using both subs trying to figure out best placement. Thanks again Very cool! Glad you like your 'new' HT. Just looking at the specs, the RSW-12 looks beefier than the RW. Excellent purchase you made there. Enjoy! What movies have you watched that really flexed the system's muscles? Ask tweeking questions if you like. We're glad to help. Moderators Youthman Posted January 10, 2011 Moderators Share Posted January 10, 2011 No doubt. That's a great price. I paid $400 used for my 1800 and I thought that was a sweet deal at the time.
