t-man Posted January 7, 2011 Share Posted January 7, 2011 I have KG 5.5s up front with a KV3. I am always looking for the next good upgrade, but my problem is that I don't have room for a larger center speaker than the KV3 in my TV stand. I am considering getting some local KLF 20s as I've always liked to have some 3 ways. I usually listen to mostly HT, so having the center match well is important. I don't think there is any way to make a KLF C7 work in my space. Therefore, I'm considering upgrading my KGs and KV with Crites Xover rebuilds and Titatium diaphrams. I wonder if this will make me upgrade proof and not wonder what I'm missing. Or, I could simply sell my KGs and start over with some Legend 3 ways and compromise on the center with a smaller speaker that might not voice match. What to do, what to do....? I guess I'm wondering if a Crites upgraded KG/KV front array would be better than stock KLF 20 without a matching C7 center. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
