rockhound
This was the year that I came back to channel audio, so I started buying CD's again. iTunes is great but I just find CD's sound to be better besides I can always rip it in lossless and keep teh CD for backup. Anyway I picked up a few new CD's this year and I find the one mentioned below to find itself in my CD player the most after purchasing. CD Stone Sour - Audio Secrecy This will not be everyone's "cup of tea" but I find it to be an oustanding listen if you like ROCK!
Islander
Oreskaband - COLOR. The new CD has a couple of reggae tunes as well as their usual 3rd wave ska and ska-rock.

BLSamuel
Picked up a few CDs in 2010 I really enjoyed. I think this is the one I've played the most. Or at least end of 2010, early 2011. Neil Young - Live At Massey Hall 1971 Better yet. $2 at a local pawn shop.

gnatnoop
yes, i've got several cuts already selected for your demo! bring your favorites too! this album was posted more for the music than the sonics. it sounds good, but alas, it is an offspring of the loudness wars of the 90's and 00's, it's just loud, there is little or no dynamic range, which is a shame considering dynamic range was one of the breakthroughs of the cd format. that bs aside, it's a good album and sounds decent.
