campy
At what price would a pair of these be an absolute steal? They are asking $600. Thanks
SuBXeRo
is that per or for the pair? If that is new for a pair, that is an awesome price, yeah id consider that a steal. If its for used, 500 would be better for a pair. IMO of course
cornfedksboy
That would be a steal if they are new in box. If they are used but like new, I'd stay under $500. Under $400. Gets into the bargain basement range.

jrod
$550 is a good deal. If in good condition, anything under is a very good deal. I bet if you offered $550 you could get them...and a good deal. I've NEVER seen a pair under $500. They are too new.
CHASLS2
I picked up like new less than one year old RF82's and new never opened in the box RS42's for a total of $600.
cornfedksboy
Two pairs here in Kansas for under $500.00. Waiting to hear on one. The other has some corner scratches. On the other hand, what I'd like to get is some rf-63s. Can't find those around here for less than $1250.
CHASLS2
I just sold a pair of RF63's for $700, but i am in FL.
cornfedksboy
Yep, $700-$1000 seems to be the going rate for used 63s everywhere else in the country.
nezff
I paid $1200 brand new for my 63s
campy
I'm sorry I should have mentioned they are used. I have got a price of $600 for a pair of new RF-52 along with cener channel but I know the RF-82 must be far superior so that's why I am thinking about them. If they are that good should I get them and buy the center seperately? I really didn't want to spend more than $600 on speakers. I would be selling my B&W DM-602's and CC6 center to fund them. nezff
The RF82 will definately be better overall than the RF52. They are worth it.
campy
What center channel matches them and how much is it?
cornfedksboy
The rc-62 matches. It can be found used for under $300. I believe it lists new at $500. Plus or minus. The 62 is also a huge upgrade as a center over the 52.

Dysmae
Would the rc-64 be an over match for the rf-82s?
spurdarren
I had a 64II with 82II's for a while until I decided I wouldnt be happy until I had the 7II's and the 64 sounded great with the 82's despite what some people said. Get the best center you can.
