I am not sure what your experience is, but it is crucial to get the cabinets snug into two good corners. Re-freshing the caps is a good thing also (and need not be expensive) and cleaning up the electrical connections. Realistically, just spend the next several days searching the old threads. A good start would be to search on "capacitors" & "pipe foam". Then spend several weekends getting to know your speakers.
