bsdme2
Hi Folkss, Again great advices from all of you. Thanks you. Jason, I will keep your advice into my purchase (U never know in the end). Reference_head, from the picture you share, is your LCD TV lay on top of your center speaker? Or behind the center speaker? RC-64 II is wide for my current tv stand and an 1 inch tall on both of it level that's why I was thinking about getting RC-62 II but will see what happen when and if I'm going to get the system. Also, if you put your LCD TV on top of your center speaker, wouldn't that vibrate your tv when it in action? BYE FOLKSSSS...

I wouldn’t put anything on top of it.[]
Heritage_Head
Keep in mind a couple things when you Say "most of you are not satisfied with the lower Model". 1. Most of those people upgraded from the rf82 system not the rf82ii system. 2. Good luck finding a person that went from a $1000 L/R to a set of $3000 L/R's that will admit it maybe wasn't worth the money sound quality wise. Lol also you need to remember that the rc62ii does not have the same tweeter as the rf7ii's. So honestly if your going to spend top dollar on the rf7ii's then you should be using the matching center channel. If you can only fit the rc62ii then you should get the floor standers that match in the rf82ii's. Now any mix matched fronts will still sound good with the rc64ii IMO.... But many on this forum will advise to timbre match your front 3. Good point Jason most people that go out and spend that kind of money will probably try and justify it. They cost 3x more than the rf-82 and even though they are better top to bottom in build, and sound that doesn’t mean its value is good for everyone. This is the only $3200 speakers I have ever owned so I have no idea how they would compare to other speakers at that cost. And I think that goes both ways if someone has never owned $3200 speakers it would be tuff to judge the value. Having a friend working at ultimate electronics was huge for me and saved me about 40% on klipsch. If you asked me 5 years ago if I would ever pay that for speakers I would have just laughed. Heritage_Head
Another thing to keep in mind Jason was the upgrade in sound u got when you bought the rc-64ii. The rf-7ii is that same upgrade and more.[]

I can say that the upgrade when I got my 64ii was huge. But I was coming from an rc52ii not the 62ii. I have heard the 62ii is a very nice speaker. Personally I liked my synergy c-3 better than the 52ii. Value is hard to judge in this situation. I do love the looks of the 7ii and 64ii. very pretty. I am adding an amp soon and we'll see how it improves my 63's.

JasonJCarney
I purchased from them Twice. Packages arrived perfect. Klipsch has them on their website as an authorized dealer.
JasonJCarney
Keep in mind that dark cherry is a different color than klipsch's normal cherry. I have dark cherry and it is beautiful
cornfedksboy
Keep in mind that those are B stock speakers (minor cosmetic damage), but the price is right!
SonicSeeker
I have a brand new pair of a stock in black that I took out of the box and set up only to replace with another set in cherry at the request of my wife ( I prefer the black) I am asking 2000.00, where are you located? JasonJCarney
Actually they claim the b-stock tag is because of the different color cherry veneer. They say there is no damage what so ever. My rc64ii was b-stock and arrived perfect.
Heritage_Head
I think with the grills on the black ash looks a little nicer. But with the grills off I give the nod to the cherry. And I like the cherry in peoples pics better than the color on the klipsch sight (the color is different).
SonicSeeker
The cherry looks better in the pictures with the grill off but I think the black with the copper in person look better,
