psg
No, the question was instead for power meters, similar to what the XPA-2 has (if they are labelled in any way). This one goes from -20 dB to +3 dB I do like the look of Emotiva amps and like the look and function of their LED's. My equipment is on a side wall and not near my display screen so I have no distraction problems but I can see how the LED's could be a distraction if close to the display. Yeah, my AV rack is at the back of the room. No distractions in front! So do the XPA-2 LED serve as effctive power meters? Are they labelled? Can you tell how many Watts the peaks are? Or hoe many dB from max?

No the XPA-2 LED can't serve as meters, no labels and they really are not that sensitive, unless the sound is really cranked they don't normally look any different from the LED's on the XPA-3 or XPA-5. Personally that makes me happy as I really don't want moving LED's and prefer the XPA-3, XPA-5 style LED's that don't have any metering effect so I am glad they are not sensitive.
