psg
Hi all, Do any of the monoprice mount work well?I'll want the projector to be the closest possible to a suspended ceiling, so anything a tad more than the 3 inches of the drop ceiling would be good. How about this one?http://www.monoprice.com/products/pr...seq=1&format=2Supports 44 lbs.Removeable extention arm with variable height adjustment 120mm (4.7") and 430mm to 650mm (16.9" to 25.6"). I could use 4.7 inches and be very close to the ceiling. Likely for a Panasonic AE4000 (but I havenèt bought it yet).
nezff
I think I would go look at projector people or visual apex. Expensive projector like that deserves something better than a cheap hanger. lol

Fish
I bought mine on eBay for about $30, several months ago we looked for a friend and it was twice as much.Mine is milled aluminum, about 3 or 4 inch drop made for my epson, not a universal, works great. My plasma has been on the wall without moving for years using a $23 monoprice mount. If it work great, why pay more?
