Moderators Youthman Posted December 19, 2011 Moderators Share Posted December 19, 2011 Well, the Dave Matthews Bluray arrived today. I can now appreciate why it has been recommended by so many audio guys. It sounds so rich and full on the UMC-1. The detail in the acoustic guitars and in Dave's voice is superb. I only listened to about 30 min of the 2.5hr bluray. 26 songs? Really? Man, the audience definitely got their money worth on that concert. The PQ of the auditorium and stage are just stunning. HIGHLY recommend it to anyone looking for a great Concert Reference Bluray.

Chris A
So it's Christmas and I am looking for some Blu-ray concert suggestions of new releases, but not seeing much. Blues, Classic Rock, Jazz, Alt, Folk, ...anything good recently come out? Not new, but absolutely superb jazz and acoustics: ...and good Chopin, which IS new:
Mike Lindsey
Another great BD is Toto's Falling In Between Live. Most of the music is off that album with about 6 or 7 popular tracks you are familiar with. The musicianship on this BD is second to none, and the audio is as good as Dave and Tim's BD imho. This is my reference BD. Mike
