Bohemian_Rhapsody
Hi, After 3 years of use, the wires on my Custom 3s finally gave up. I decided to get the wire replaced with that of my iPhone. The Customs are back to life but it seems there is no bass. It seems like only the tweeters are working. The overall volume also seems reduced. - Can different polarity between the two earplugs cause this? - Can the cable make such a big difference? Has anyone tried this before? Any tips? Professor Thump
Chances are that you have damaged the low pass acoustic filter or crossover flex PCB. How did you replace the cable?
J.4knee
Being an opportunist, I have to say the title of this thread peaked my interest. I think a bit of a redesign of the C3's that changes the cable and add a mic and iDevice controls like the X#i’s or S#i’s would be a great idea. I would be very interested in such a product. Even the name C3i's sounds appealing hint hint hint![H]
