garyrc
I'm looking for some beige or beige-yellow fabric to wrap absorbers in that will either be asoustically transparent enough from an oblique angle so that it will pass mid and high frequencies through to the engineered absorber underneath, or at least won't reflect those frequencies (I heard that some plastic based fabric does reflect).. I would be using it to cover Sonofiber and possibly Sonex. Any Ideas? Is there a type of Owens-Corning that is the same material as Sonofiber, but not dyed? MechMan
A good rule of thumb is the lower the resistance to you blowing through it the better it is.
JJkizak
If you take a look at the newer Klipsch speakers you will see the grill cloth set approximately 1/2" away from the cabinet. This will negate any pressure buildup/resistance caused by the grill cloth. As far as high frequencies passing through I cannot help.
