jhoak
I used one of these when I ran mostly vintage hardware here. http://www.musicdirect.com/p-9658-signet-rca-cleaning-tool-ea.aspx Then treat with: http://www.parts-express.com/pe/showdetl.cfm?Partnumber=341-
LousyTourist
I just use Q-tips and Caig DeOxit. Pull most of the cotton off the Qtip and dip in Deoxit, scrubba, scrubba, scrubba. A thin strip of brown paper bag is also helpful. Has a mildly abrasive quality, good for polishing the outsides of connectors. Also wet with Deoxit.
