Cut-Throat
I was in my workshop today and noticed one of the speakers was not working. This has happened before with my Crown Components from the 70's. The usual culprit is the contacts on the pre-amp. So, I went through the normal polishing them with fine steel wool and cleaning with alcohol. No progress at all. Then I think I may have a channel out on the amp.....Start swapping things...keep coming up empty. After about 1 hour moving things out from shelves, cleaning.....swapping......I decide to change the radio station......Wa! La!......Everything works. The internet streaming of the radio station was missing the right channel. That of course was the last thing I suspected. The FM from the station was fine. I sent them an e-mail, telling them what I found....Checked the station about 1 hour later and no channels are working......I guess they are working on it.
