New Rega Turntable, P8, is about to be production

This reminds me of Klipsch puting monster cable on the outside of the K Horn bass bin in the 1980's for market appeal. After having a VPI scout and then getting rid of it, I bought a Rega table because it looks and functions like a turntable, you know, with a dust cover, square looking, a "record player."

There is a reason for the "classic" design, it works. This new design looks like pandering to Audophools.

speaking of classics... I would trade my P5 for a VPI classic in walnut anytime.

speaking of classics... I would trade my P5 for a VPI classic in walnut anytime.

Make sure you try the VPI tonearm before making a move. The unipivot works, but I never got comfortable with it.
