ajoker2c
Any recommendations for a sub to pair with vintage Hereseys in a 2.1 system? I have a Klipsch RT-10d runnign through the center channel in a Mac c-26 in a 13x22 room with MLP at 10 ft . It works and blends well with the Heresy ii's crossover at 100 here. Only experience I have with sub in 2.1.
moray james
matching a sub to me is mostly about matching the Qt of the main speaker and the sub. Do that they blend don't and they won't. I have a pair of HSU VTF2Mk2 but I have to set them up as sealed and then play with thelow bass setting switch to adjusst the Qt of the filter to make them work which the do very well now. Prior to that nothing but frustration. Best regards Moray James.
SilverSport
If not Klipsch (I've used a Sub 12)...try anything from Hsu like Moray suggests...I've had two different Outlaw Audio Subs (Hsu design based) with my Heresy home theater... runninshine
I use a Klipsch 15" sub (can't remember the model # [*-)] ) and it really sounds nice with H1s.
