CLULESS ! Oh no you don't! I'm not letting go into seclusion until I apologize. That was a damned stupid mistake I made calling you Mr.What I wrote was totally without any consideration of your gender or lifestyle or anything else.Calling you mister had NO malicious intent whatsoever.I was not tryng to hurt your feelings.I did not know or realize who I was having fun with and again I apologize to you on this forum and in order that our fellow members can see that I would never puposely go out of my way to embarass you in public especially since we have gotten along so well and hope to continue to enjoy each others sense of humor.I have edited my post appropriately.Billy

Some great poems, but not too many limericks it seems.

Well here is an attempt:

There were 2 Klipsch speakers in Greece

With Tube amps, just one a piece

That played through the night

set the music alight

and gave me a bless-ed release

or,

My speaker of choice is the Heresy

Which is something of a Klipsch legacy

It plays really loud

And makes a man proud

When coupled with tube amps for delicacy

That will do for now methinks

Hey, MaxG thanks for helping with the tasteful limerick shortage! It inspired me to yet another...

In his search through audio garble

MaxG wanted pure tone not warble

. . His hopes will be met

. . With a Klipschorn set

And false walls made of Grecian marble!

Hmm, now to work on one in salute to the Athens Audiophiles who have extended Klipsch concepts far and wide... mostly without budget constraints.

Some say Klipsch falls audiophile short

But not so says the Athens report

. . Where avid Greek pure-o's

. . Are spending their Euros

To give Klipsch tubular life support.

cwm40.gif Hey, MaxG, I just thought of a project based upon one of your earlier posts. How about building a LaScala with the exterior surfaces made out of marble. It is the simplest of PWK's horn-loaded designs, DIY plans are available, and it would be a lot cheaper than other Athens Audiophile Club offerings. -HornED

PS: Okay, so you have to mollify your fair lady with a larger castle... somewhere within walking distance of your turn in the daily Grecian Earn. cwm36.gif... but maybe you can sell them as Athenian Classics just in time to fund your wee one's higher education.

Smash.gif ...and you might bang out something that would even make...

cwm16.gif the staunchest marblehead in the Christos crowd proud!

Climbing out of my cave (OK. so it's just the crawl space under my house). Now your post isn't funny anymore. I am not/was not upset with you in the least. I'd e-mail you, but you don't have one listed, so this will have to suffice.

On Being Three Limerick Sheets to the Wind

She's traveled from Scranton to Luless,

An audio "bird" who once knew less.

cwm17.gif Defending her gender

cwm16.gif Stands up to its bender

And remains genuinely cluless!

Welcome from the crawl space "down under"

With mind set for pleasure not plunder...

cwm34.gif Restoring your tweak end

cwm32.gif In time for the weekend

Renders reclusiveness asunder!

And now that you have rejoined the run

To explore sound bits under the sun

cwm13.gif So glad you're Ms-able

cwm4.gif And your sex vis-able

In this "audio store" house of fun!

cwm39.gif ... it's another "Dangerous Beauty" weekend. Enjoy! -HornED

How about Klipsch Gansta Rap?

------------------

Receiver: Sony STR-DE675

Speakers: JBL HLS-610

Subwoofer: JBL 4648A-8

Sub amp: Parts Express 180 watt

Center/surrounds: Teac 3-way bookshelfs

Yes, it sucks, but better to come. KLIPSCH soon! My computer is better than my stereo!
