I have a pair that is badly beaten, and even delaminating, but they still sound great. They belonged to a band, and were taken in and out of the van many times. I recapped them, replaced the dry-rotted woofers with K-43's, and applied a new seal to the woofer compartment. I paid too much at $800 for them, and in the end had about $1,100 in a pair of LaScalas that were worth maybe $850. I should have paid $550.
