Buddy Shagmore
When my Forte's were new, my toddler daughter painted some White Out on the oiled oak veneer. Not much, but it's still there. Is there any way to remove it? I would like to avoid a refinish, if possible.
Marvel
If they were mine, I would use a razor blade/sharp knife edge to scrape the whiteout off of the finish. Not deep, but whiteout will usually flake off... If you don't push down hard, the oiled oak should survive just fine. But they aren't mine, and I take zero responsibility for what you may try. babadono
Buddy, Have you tried a lemon oil furniture polish? Or a Watco Danish oil? That is the nice thing about oil finishes-- a little more oil will not hurt it. In fact my oil finished KHorns and Lascalas (as well as other oil finished furniture) demand it. babadono
