Tarheel
I hear my former tech Kevin Kaas has retired. Anyone have a tech preferably in driving distance (100 miles) from Wilmington, NC? Pinch rollers have to be manually assisted to press the tape to the tape heads. Grease has probably hardened....again.
Boxx
I wish that I could help. I finally found a tech (that specializes in reel units) in the Dallas area. He brought my Teac X2000R back to life.
Tarheel
Thanks Boxx, Still have this 73 vintage that is working fine as well as a couple that don't work in storage. Edited November 18, 2013 by Tarheel
Marvel
I flushed out the grease in the solenoid on my Teac 3340 a few years ago, replaced with another lubricant. Fixed it right up. Isn't this something you could do yourself? Bruce

It really bothered me the last time I put together my outdoor "gas" grill.
