tube fanatic
This link was sent to me. It is quite useful for comparing the ears for unequal frequency response at all the frequencies in the audio band: http://www.audionotch.com/app/tune/ My ears are more different than I had believed! muel
A few years ago, I found software that allowed me to generate a tone that would actually offset the tinnitus in my ear so that it would seem that the ringing would almost disappear. You also had to adjust the volume so the counteracting tone would be loud enough to offset the ringing. It had to be pretty loud to work (I could hear it with my other ear) and I figured that it couldn't be good for my hearing to be listening to that for too long. It was really NICE to find relief from that ringing temporarily! Luckily, my hearing hasn't changed much more in the last 12 years or so. derrickdj1
What is suppose to happen when listening to the tone? Is it suppose to duplicate your tinnitus?
