kogeed
I am looking for a good amplifier Scott 208. Possible without tubes. The main condition - working state. If someone can tell their reviews about this amp, I will be glad to hear. Thank you.

Dr Morbius
I've heard nothing but good things about them, though they are as rare as hen's dentures.
kogeed
Steve, I missed one in good condition on ebey. I put 555, and lost. We had to put 601. So sorry. I keep hunting.
Dr Morbius
I've got a Scott 299C and a 272 all redone by Craig at NOSvalves - couldn't be happier!
kogeed
Steve, Scott 272 top line integrated amplifiers. I have not heard or seen in the proposals. 299C is similar to LK- 72, but it has a higher rating. 299C Scott, really better than LK - 72? Audio Flynn
I have a 208 as a second system power amp. It will stay in the family for generations. Heath, Pilot and Ampex have good power amps as well. I have not looked for vintage intensively in many years. Ten years ago the market was tight. Goood time of year to look post Christmas and before tax returns arrive. Good luck. Rick
