Muzyka Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 I've found a package deal someone is selling near me and would like opinions on whether its worth it. I planned on just having the older KSF series as my HT. The package for sale is all Ref IV, pair of RF82, RC52 center, and pair of RS42 surrounds. What would be a good deal on the set and is it worth going for it all or stick with the older KSF line of speakers. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks! Scrappydue Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 Man I would say 400 for for 82's in good shape. 150-175 for rc-52. 43's would fetch around 225-250. Street prices. I'd offer 775. And wouldn't pay over 900. I bought the exact set about a year ago in mint condition for 650$. Sold the 42's and 52 center for 400 to a guy. Was hard to sell the 82's as I only had 250$ in them. I ended up buying the KSF-C5 center and KSF-S5 surrounds. Already have the KSF 8.5 towers. All together I've only spent $250 on it all. Plus I really like that all of this was made in USA compared to china. But I do have to say.... I just finished watching a movie and my god!..... The center channel really made it so much better. I really love how these Klipsch speakers sound. I could hear the I guess you'd say smallest detail of sound from a cricket to ricochets from the surround speakers.
