Removing the gold badge from grill

or a hair dryer/heat gun from the back side.

NO DO NOT DO THIS. The grill cloth is very sensitive to heat and will shrink or melt. Trust me I have actually used a heat gun to shrink Klipsch cloth to make it tight in a frame. In my experience the badges come right of with little effort and no extreme measures.

Thanks for the suggestions! Unfortunately, I read the suggestion about using heat prior to the warning not to and did in fact burn a hole in the grill cloth. The method did help the glue soften and cut easier. Not a big deal as I've wanted to try my hand at redoing grill fabric and this gives me the opportunity. For those who care, I am removing the badges from a pair of KG 2 and reusing them on some KG 1.2s so they match my KG 4. I plan to post pics of my system at some point.

Thanks again for the replys.
