The Paul and Valerie Klipsch Museum

Recommended Posts

I'd like to know more about Ms. Belle Klipsch, the first wife of PWK.

He obviously had some affections for her, naming a speaker for her.

I'm also curious to know why the Belle speaker was "dumped" in favor of the decidedly less visually appealing LaScala?

Perhaps someone that knew her or her story can chime in(?)

The LaScala predated the Belle. The Belle was a domesticated version of the LaScala. The Belle was dropped because of economics as the Cornwall was. Their prices were close to what a LaScala cost with the Belle costing more and Cornwall a little less. People were buying LaScalas. The Cornwall was brought back by market demand.
