I would be interested IF good to turn for a forum member, garage / outdoor or flipping (honesty). From CL: Selling 2 speakers 2 horns 15" JBL's. mounted on wheels carry handles on each side. USNRET
The guy contacted me and said they were home built years ago and sitting in his garage since the 80's. I asked for more info on the JBL woofers and if there was any xovers involved. I suspect the value, if any, would be in the horns or drivers. Thoughts? USNRET
Any thoughts on quick resistance checks on drivers or other checks if I were to make a drive by? He told me that I would have to bring a source which I do not have easily.
japosey
The 808-8a drivers and horn can be resold for what he is asking if they are in good working order and good cosmetic condition. Not sure that is the case in this instance.
USNRET
I made a conditional offer so we'll see if he agrees before I make the drive to check them out. Anyone happen to know what resistance range I should be looking for on the diaphragms and voice coils.? Does 6.5 sound reasonable?
