MichaelandKlipsch
Anthem avrs are probably the rest rated that I have read. I use there separates with the Anthem d2v and it's the best sounding processor I have heard so I'm sure their avrs are very good as well. Next choice would be pioneer elite or onkyo

Schu
If you had between $1,500 and $2,500 to spend on an A/V unit, which brand and model would you choose. I know that many of you would never go this route, but I may be looking for one soon and I need opinions. Thanks, Boxx been doing some searching and the Pioneer Sc85 (best of all worlds in the elite line) looks like a SMOKING deal... ESS DAC, 135+wpc into 9.2, MCACC PRO, 4K pass thru, HMDI 2.0... just about everything you need. at a GREAT price. I see these all over the place for under $1200us. Also upgradable to Atmos... if you're into that sort of thing. I have been thinking about getting one myself to upgrade from my SC35 Edited November 17, 2014 by Schu
