John Chi-town
Thinking about getting a sub into the equation again. Had a Velodyne that I sold a year or two ago which was a wired connection. SVS and Klipsch both appear to have a wireless connection. Anyone have any experience with? What requirements are there for my preamp / amp as far as integration? I am running a vintage Adcom GFP 750 pre, along with a 2 channel Adcom 565SE Bipolar amp. Thanks in advance for any input/advice. Best regards, John
CECAA850
As far as I know, you just need an LFE out.
John Chi-town
So, no LFE out, no wireless connection? I am using a traditional preamp, not an AVR. I attached a copy of the user manual to this post, showing my available inputs/outputs. Best regards,John gfp-750-ug.pdf
CECAA850
I would think you could use main 2, unbalanced output to run your sub as long as it's hot when 1 is (parallel)
CECAA850
You'll need to use the crossover on the sub for your low pass filter.
Paducah Home Theater
Anyone have any experience with? They work fine. There seems to be a threshold in terms of getting them to turn on but once they are on they're fine. Just not sure if that's a wireless specific issue or a sub issue. Only thing I don't like is that you cannot run two receivers with one transmitter, and you also have to feed both inputs to get decent power, which basically means a bunch of splitters even though you are transmitting a mono signal. Would be nice to have one RCA input into one transmitter and you're done. Edited January 12, 2015 by MetropolisLakeOutfitters
