RPEYER
Hello All, This of course is my first post here in Klipsch land. I was a proud owner of two sets of Hersey II's many years ago. My current Home system is crap. I will be using the system 50/50 for Music and HT. This past weekend I listen to an RF3 and RF7 setup. So my first choice will be: RF7 Mains RC7 Center RS7 Surrounds
RPEYER
Of course my first post is incomplete. In addition to the RF7 setup, it will include A Denon AVR-3802 and a SVS Sub to follow. Second Choice: Denon AVR-3802 Hersey II Mains SVS Sub What should I use for Surrounds and Center? Thanks, RP
Audible Nectar
If you go Heresys, go ALL Heresys with SVS sub. That would be one sweet setup!
NOZ
You bastard, you live in Hawaii, spent two weeks there on my honymoon, on the North shore. Loved it! Anyways, I'd stick to the R-7 series, they are wonderful. The receiver is good enough because the speakers are efficent. RPEYER
The thing I don't like with an all Hersey setup is using one as a center channel, doesn't look good. And as surrounds, what a waste for Hersey's. But I always enjoyed their sound. As you can see I am leaning more towards the RF7 package. RPEYER
Cherry RF-7's are the winner. ------------------ Home System: Currently Under Constuction Computer: Soundcard: Turtle Beach Santa Cruz Speakers: Klipsch Promedia 4.
Soundthought
Aloha. Welcome aboard. Congratulations on your choice. It's a great speaker. Ample bang for your buck. Enjoy immensely. The cherry RF7s are a damn good looking speaker. Especially, with the grilles off. P.S. Be sure to use the supplied foot spikes with these bad lads. It makes a noticeable difference in overall sound quality. IMO. ------------------ You should of heard just what I've seen.

I have the full Reference 7 setup with the Denon AVR3802 and I'll tell you that it sounds freaking awesome and worth every dime I spent to get it!. I have not heard the Hersey's myself although I do not doubt they sound really good, however. ------------------ Steven Konopa Fredericksburg, VA Denon AVR3802 (Receiver) RF-7 (Fronts) RC-7 (Center) RC-7 (Rear) RS-7 (A Surrounds) Infinity RS2000.5 (B Surrounds - recycled) REL Storm III (Subwoofer 1) Yamaha YST-SW40 (Subwoofer 2 - Recycled) JVC XV-S65GD (DVD) Sharp DX-200 (CD - ancient) RCA DWD490RE (DirecTV/Ultimate TV receiver) Sharp 32 inch (TV)
