Hackett
Hello everyone. I recently purchased the RF-7ii fronts and RC-64 along with the R-115SW powered by a Marantz 6009...I am really enjoying this system and in my opinion they are absolutely phenomenal for music. However now that I have taken the plunge into great speakers I would like to match really great Klipsch surrounds with this system. Klipsch once recommended the RS-62ii however it seems these have been discontinued. My hope is that I can find an equal or better match for my current system. Should I try to find a pair of the RS-62ii or wait to see if they are replaced with an improved model? Thanks for all the great reading in this forum! And may still be available from some retailers until all the stock is sold. http://www.klipsch.com/rs-62-ii-surround-speaker
Paducah Home Theater
Only thing better that's available would be to run RF-7ii's in the rear. I've got a very similar system with RS-62ii's, they keep up just fine. Only alternative right now if you want to hang them on the wall is the 5" surrounds in the reference premiere line, or go with the bookshelves. Scrappydue
Rs-62ii's are all over the place still. Try acoustic sound design or sound distributors. Also I think world wide stereo had them listen in stock as well
Bryant0086
I saw at least three or four of the RS-62 II surrounds on fleabay as well. They are out there. One of the vendors was WW stereo, as Scrappydue mentioned. They are authorized and can give a real warranty. If it were me, I would get the RS-62 II as surrounds as it is the match for the mains and center. They may not make another that has the same drivers and it will be voiced differently.
